Ask me anything
The questions you’re actually asking at 11pm.
No spin. If a question isn’t here, ask Jon directly — you’ll get a straight answer.
What happens to my staff if I partner with Arcs?
Your team is offered to stay. We partner with practices because of their people, not in spite of them — keeping the staff intact is the goal from day one. At Covenant, the team stayed, and we added coverage so they stopped burning out.
Do my patients keep their clinic and their doctors?
Yes. Continuity of care is the first thing we protect. Patients keep the same clinic, the same faces, and the same relationships. The transition is deliberately built so the people who’ve trusted you for years barely feel a change.
Does the name on the door stay?
Yes. Your name and brand are exactly what we want to protect, not replace. Your reputation in the community is the real value of the practice — erasing it would defeat the whole point of a partnership.
Can I keep practicing? Can I stay on part-time?
However much you want. Some owners stay one day a week, some mentor, some fully retire over time. You set the pace. At Covenant, the owner went from five 12-hour shifts a week to one day a week, still connected to his patients.
How long does the process take?
As long as you need. There’s no clock. The first conversations are just about fit and trust; money comes later, never first. Many owners take months to feel ready, and that’s completely normal — this is a big decision.
What if I start the conversation and change my mind?
Then nothing happens. The first call is confidential and carries no obligation. We’d rather you be sure than rushed. Talking to us doesn’t commit you to anything, and we won’t pressure you toward a timeline that isn’t yours.
Is Arcs private equity? Who owns you?
No. Arcs is not a private-equity roll-up with a five-year exit clock. It’s founded and run by Jon Roosevelt, an operator who runs clinics himself. We partner to keep practices healthy for the long term, not to flip them.
Is the AI going to run my clinic or replace my people?
No. The software exists to lift paperwork off your team — ambient charting, easier check-in, cleaner billing — so people spend less time on admin and more on patients. It works in the background and never makes a clinical decision. Your medicine stays yours.
When do we talk about money?
Late, and plainly. The early conversations are about whether there’s a fit and a shared vision for the practice. When the time comes, the financial side is explained in clear language — no acronyms, no pressure, no deck full of jargon.
Can I talk to an owner who’s already done this?
Yes — just ask. Hearing it firsthand from someone who’s been through a transition with Arcs is the most honest signal we can offer, and we’re glad to connect you.
